My God
is not a distant god,
sitting afar off
from me;
But, by His Son,
He’s pulls me close;
In Jesus,
His face I see.
By His Spirit,
He walks with me,
and stays with me
night and day.
I’m privileged
to call Him, “Father”,
and blessed to know Him
that way.
