I’m standing
just outside
the Promised Land,
So close,
I want to touch it
with my hand;
So near
to that city
Christ prepared for me;
But, there’s a danger
that I won’t
go in.
If my faith
in the Lord
gives way to sin,
I’ll be locked
outside it’s gates
for all eternity.
