There is nothing
in this world
that lasts forever.
All
will either die
or rust away.
A man
works hard for gain,
then dies with nothing.
He spent his lifetime
looking back
on yesterday.
Oh man, look up and seek
the things that are eternal,
such as God’s eternal love.
Seek the things
that can’t be seen,
they last forever.
The things
of God and Christ
are all stored up above.
